The first main boss (after the plant mini boss) is seriously hard! Is the rest of the game even harder? Aaaargh! I tried out the Game Gear version of the game, and it's not nearly as good as the Master System version.

I tried out the Game Gear version of the game, and it's not nearly as good as the Master System version. Actually, that guy is probably the toughest since he takes like 100 hits. I found the other bosses easier and shorter. The differences between the three versions is actually quite interesting. The Game Gear one looks like fun, I like how it fills the screen (to compensate for the smaller GG screen) and how it pauses when you are selecting your ESP. Here's a link.

I also found this game tough and got annoyed and literally "stuck" on the ice level and had to reset. Game went back into its box after that.
Game is, however, very polished and will have to be given a go again.

There's a guy on ebay selling sealed copies in the U.S. They're around $20 or so. The downer is they're not wrapped. They only have the SEGA sticker seal on the side. Last I saw, he had about 8 left.

Well you can't play a game that's wrapped...... Considering how easy it is to remove and re-apply that "sealed" sticker, yeah, you can. I suppose I can see paying more for a shrinkwrap sealed game, but there's no way I'd pay more for a game where the only identifier for being "new" is a sticker that can easily be peeled. On most of my Euro games I just attach one of those stickers to the end just to be a completist, and they look perfectly new but certainly aren't. I don't see what would stop anyone else from passing olds off as new. But uh, yeah, Psychic World is fun. How's that for being on topic? ;D

Casually, today I picked up today in the post office, previously I played a bit of it on Meka and is fun. The game covers for the Game Gear and MSX version are truly ace.

Definitely one of the most underrated games on the system and one that no one ever mentions. It was one of the first games I got with my SMS when I was a kid and I'm still playing the same copy over 20 years later Absolutely worth checking out

Definitely one of the most underrated games on the system and one that no one ever mentions. Totally agree! I only heard about it when I started collecting and loved it immediately! It reminds me a lot of Ninja Gaiden, which was my favorite game as a kid.
