And shame on everyone who claims they have completed California games – everyone knows that it (technically) doesn’t end! It’s like saying you’ve completed Tetris.

I play California Games since my childhood. That means, I play it for MANY years - and made some nice scores during that long time! ;D So I have enough knowhow about this game to build my own opinion. And that´s no shame at all! And yes, I´m a good Tetris player too ;D

Lol, relax; I was only half-joking. But in all seriousness don’t get me started on either of these games; I used to hold many-a world record for Tetris games (40 lines in 25 seconds anyone?) and in all honesty would be very surprised if anyone can touch my California Games scores (with the exception of my "Flying Disc" scores) – which I have been meaning to so submit to Twin Galaxies for some time now.

I was half-joking too mate Ok, what do you want to hear from me? It´s nice that you are so amazing at these games. I said that I am good, not more and not less. But it´s not about records here, it´s about completed games. So I think I played California Games enough to say that I "completed" it. And if I put games like Baku Baku or World Games on my list one day (I don´t think so but it´s an example right now), it would be ok for me. If someone loves a game so much that he played it for years, it counts as practically completed, even for infinite puzzle games and so on. If a few people doesn´t think like me about this topic, I have no problem with it - shame about nothing^^

I understand that we’re not discussing records or highscores in this tread; my point more-or-less was that I have gotten world records for such games yet I still wouldn’t list them on my “completed lists”, as they do not have a definitive end (though I would certainly record my highscores). And besides, the topic is ”your completed games played list”, not “games that you have played for 100+ hours and racked up monster scores on” My apologies if I come off as over passionate on the subject, but I take my video games very seriously. - Jono

My point is that: An SMS collector can say that he collected every game that was released. And then, he can never say that he completed them all? To say "I played every game" doesn´t sounds very commited to me. To be honest, I think it would s*ck

hey man, the only reason I buy SMS games/stuff is so I can use it! oh yeah, the list. do sport games count like great baseball and stuff? I don't care I'm not including them anyway. and oh yeah.. if the game keeps looping and I get passed the last level/boss I consider it beat -action fighter -altered beast -astro warrior -cyber shinobi -cyborg hunter (the only reason why I beat this game is cause when I was a kid playing it this one time I got pissed off and threw the controller and it hit the system and something glitched in the game and I was invincible after that) -double dragon -dynamite dux -galaxy force -gangster town -golden axe -hang on AND safari hunt -kung fu kid -machine gun joe -marksman shooting (just marksman.. I suck at the traps) -miracle warrior -monopoly -out run -paperboy -r type (cheat to win ) -satellite 7 (cheat to win ) -shinobi -street fighter 2 -streets of rage -super space invaders -transbot -vigilante -wanted -zool I think I beat more games on the n64 than the master system...

I've just completed Phantasy Star for the first time. A very enjoyable adventure I must say although the dungeons and random monster fights do get a bit tedious after a while. I've added it to my list of completed games.

I need to put some games down:
Phantasy Star Cyborg Hunter Hang-On Monopoly Pro Wrestling I would put down Double Dragon but considering I use the Infinite Continue thing on the last level, I guess that doesn't really count?

I guess Im the worst player here I have completed dynamite duke only, when I was 8 years old or so . And just because accidentally found an area where the final boss couldn't damage me. I tried hard with Alex Kidd in miracle world, but these castles were too hard for me. I didn't knew how to find the hidden code to complete the game, so if I had reached the final stage, I wouldn't beat the game. God, 8 bits games are to hard!
