Yeah I like Rambo 2 aswell, though the version that came out here in New Zealand was called Secret Command (though the title screen even says Secret Commando). As I understand it Secret Command was the Japanese version of the game that Rambo 2 is based on and the characters you play look different and are called 'Ashura' and 'Bishamon'. The game I had seemed to have the instructions for Secret Command, but the game characters I think must have been those from Rambo 2. Kind of odd.
Anyhow Rambo II/Secret Command/Secret Commando is a lot of fun, with all the varied scenery and opponents over 6 levels (But what are those strange film strips that appear at the end of each round). The final 'boss' is pretty impressive too and the ending sequence. This game gets a good review in the game review section of this website

Hi there ShadowAngel. I saw Time Soldiers a long time ago but never got to play it. Could you tell me a bit about it please? Thanks:-) The Game is similar in style to rambo or mercs. You travel back in Time to save your comrades. First Level is in the prehistoric age were you must fight against caveman and dinosaurs. Second is in the Old Rome. Never saw the other Levels ;D The Graphic is ok, Sound is annoying but its fun to play especially in the 2 Player Mode. There is also a brasilian version (called "Soldados do Tempo"), which is a bit different, its more difficult to play and in the first level you're in a village against soldiers but the second level is the primitive age again

Yeah it sounds ok. I've played a few other games where you travel up through the various eras in time.
Thanks ShadowAngel

to be top-scrolling shooters, they'd have to actually auto-scroll.
power strike 1-2 scramble spirits astro warrior
the rest of them suck.
