Have you ever seen Duffy Duck goes to Hollywood? It is amazingly superb. Unfortunately I cannot find any pictures online... that's that damn demonstration effect - It never works when someone's watching.

With the exceptions of Game Gear ports over to the Master my list are:
Wonder Boy III: Dragon's Trap Wonder Boy In Monster World (Not sure if this was ported over from GG to SMS?) Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion Fantasy Zone II Alex Kid In the miracle world My Hero ( I love the graphics in this game) Aztec Adventure (forgot spelling sorry ) Shinobi Altered Beast Cloud Master Time Soldiers Alex Kid in Shinobi World Dynamite Duke
All I can think about for today sure there are plenty of other great games..

Cloud Master is definitely highly underrate in the graphics category. The style of it using old Japanese watercolors as inspiration was awesome. Too bad the game is freaking impossible.

My brother and I finished it the other day. Basically in order to do it you have to finish the entire game without dying once, otherwise you're screwed. I'd say it took at least 300 tries haha. Definitely the biggest accomplishment I've ever achieved on an SMS game.

Definitely the biggest accomplishment I've ever achieved on an SMS game. It's a shame that the sequel was horribly easy on the Wii because the SMS original was amazing for its time. I actually bought the sequel because I loved the SMS version so much even though warned that it was a bad game I did it anyways trying to force myself to enjoy it. Unfortunately, the game really lacks a lot of enjoyment and I went right back and played the SMS original just to rinse the horrible experience away. Back when we were kids, my brother and his friend managed to beat the game. He told me the best weapon was the sun special where it explodes and falls on the enemy. The same weapon exist in the Wii version.

Definitely, you absolutely cannot beat this game without having full power and possibly the bouncing bomb skill throughout the entire game. Some of the levles are manageable with basic weapons, but when you get to the one level with the lion mini-bosses, there is a section that's literally and totally impossible without full power. I tried it myself, you just cannot make it past it without having full power.

Yeah those lion mini bosses are the worst because not only do they take a million hits, but there's bullets coming from other guys on screen too, so it makes it even harder than the final bosses. Is there a harder game on the SMS? Terminator?

Yeah, what would be the point, you know? That's why I can't understand collectors who spend so much time on sealed games, never opening them. It's different with toys, you don't really play with them at age 30, but video games you do. Second stage? Come on! All you need to do is stock up and get the bouncing ball bombs as soon as you can and hold the buttons in.

For me Sagaia is the best looking game on the console.

Wonderboy 3 and IV, Chuck Rock 2, Basketball Nightmare, Psycho Fox, Ninja Gaiden, Cool Spot, Robocop Vs Terminator, The Terminator, All the Disney Stuff is great too to name but a few, but a personal fave of mine - not because it's unbelievably stunning but I love the brightness and smoothness of Bubble Bobble, it's clean and really works with the master systems pallet.

Sagaia looks awesome in screenshots, but has possibly the worst flicker I've ever seen and slows down like a a child conceived out of wedlock when anything much happens.
Power Strike gets my vote. Looks ace, no slowdown and no flicker. Certainly impressive for 1988.
