my very first game was Rampage, still one of my favourite games on the sms. I got an SMS 2 for my birthday, the Megadrive had just come out but I was too young to know the difference

My first SMS games where Alex Kidd (built-in) and Sonic 1 (packed-in). I got the SMS for Sonic and in my opinion it’s one of the best Sonic titles ever, easily up there with the 16-bit offerings. I didn’t play as much Alex Kidd initially, but it has really grown on me over time. It’s more challenging than Sonic and the game play is much more varied. Always loved getting to use the different vehicles

Played almost 2 months with Hang ON ( build in ). The real first game I got was Global Defense. My dad is still the only one in the family who ever played the game till the end.

First game was Hang-on/Safari Hunt and Choplifter I think. Got it from my parents in 1986 when they first came out, so it would have been some of the original titles.

My uncle gave me his SMS and game collection in 1990. It had Hang On / Safari Hunt built in and Choplifter, After Burner, Gangster Town, Great Baseball and Double Dragon.
For the life of me I don't remember what I tried first.
Then I got Transbot and Super Tennis. Transbot because it was plastered over anything talking about Sega Cards so I assumed it must have been a good game, and Super Tennis because I love Tennis! Plus being on Cards they were cheaper!
Then 2 years later my friend blew my mind when he showed me a trick his cousin had showed him, and revealed the Snail Maze game. If he hadn't showed me that, it wouldn't have been until about 10 years later when I started collecting again for the SMS and reading all I could on the internet about it that I would have learned it was there!

Already said it in my introduction, but it was Kenseiden. Awesome game!
Hang-On & Snail Maze is then number 2 & 3 because they came with the system. But I have no idea what nr4 was. It might have been Teddy Boy as I have a picture of myself playing it and it was not that long after I got the system.

I first played Sonic 1 as it was built in. I suppose many would say that because of that reason.

my first sms game was played on the md via the convertor and it was rc crand prix. it was the box art of that game that got my attention as each one of the cars in the picture are real rc cars made by TAMIYA which i collect. as for the game i loved it and will have to get a copy of soon.

First one was not the built in Alex Kidd, but Transbot. Simple, not too difficult and hours of fun before I found out there was an even better game in the console. I didn't have the box of the Master System so discovered that by accident.
