since I got my SMS as a birthday present in 1987, my first games were Hang-On/Safari Hunt, Ghost House & Action Fighter. My mom & dad were cool enough to buy those with the system. *MY* first game that I bought with my own money was Outrun.

The first games I owned were Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Sonic the Hedgehog, the former built-in while the latter was bundled with the console. The first game I bought individually was Lemmings.

I remember the first game I played as being Penguin Land. I don't think I've seen anyone else mention the game in any other thread, people must think it sucked but I had a blast with it.

Well, the first time that I got a Master System way back when, it was an SMS 2 (it got sold while I was in the Marine Corps ) So I guess technically it would be Alex Kidd in Miracle World. The first game I ever bought, though, was a mail order from a magazine like you always used to see. You know, the NES, SMS, SNES, and Genesis game listings. I had played Michael Jackson's Moonwalker on the Genesis and loved it. So I went ahead and ordered the SMS version out of the magazine. I liked it just about as much as the Genesis version, but was a little disappointed that the final boss fight with Mr. Big wasn't in the cool outer space scene. Besides that difference, I thought they did a spectacular job on it! One of these days I'll pick it back up.

My first sms game and first video game ever was Alex Kidd in Miracle World. I was amazed by the game as a kid and I still enjoy it and play it from time to time.

Yeah, but it's not present on some systems. There are also a few other variations, like the Sonic the Hedgehog models.

I couldn't get my hands on an sms when i was a kid so i got mine after it had been out for a while. I bought it from my older brothers friend for about £80 with about 10 games.
Think the first one i put in was Double Dragon but my fav was Bomber Raid.
