Hey, I just joined the forum and I've been a long time Master System fan. I live in the US and have around 65 US Master System titles. That being said, I'm travelling to London next week and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to look for some European releases. I was also wondering if anyone had any recommendations for games that are not available in the US. Thanks in advance!

There's many games on the eu system that never made it to the USA. A shop called Cex has stores all over the UK. When you get to your hotel just Google retro game shops in London and you should get something turning up.

We're staying at the Doubletree Hilton in Chelsea. I definitely plan on using my GPS when I get there to find a few stores. In the meantime, I've been googling and it appears that Awesome Games and CEX might be places I want to check out. Any more recommendations that anyone has would be appreciated!

Where about are you from in the US? Enjoy your trip across the pond! There's lots of great games not released here. Keep your eyes open for some of the expensive/rare stuff that may be cheaper in the wild...Micro Machines, Ninja Gaiden would be great pick ups.

I'm from North Carolina. Thanks for the recommendations, I'm definitely on the lookout for Micro Machines, Galaxy Force, and a Sonic without the pricey UPC!

Didn't Galaxy Force come out in the US? I had a silver one a few years ago. You should be able to find Sonic though. Also some of the EU only Disney games are good, Desert Strike...

Yes, Galaxy Force was released in the US with the silver case by Activision..... and "Graphics That Will Kill You" on the back...literally.

It definitely did come out in the US but it's super expensive! No luck so far. I've hit up a few CEX stores and the only Sega I've seen has been 1 game gear, 1 Genesis and 1 Saturn game. Oh well, I'm having a great time either way!

You could always try eBay and go and collect items rather than get them posted. Unfortunately I live 300 miles away so of little help either

I was finally able to locate a few games at X Electrical! I got my hands on Wimbledon CIB, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade loose, Sonic The Hedgehog loose, Lucky Dime Caper loose and TransBot w/box but no manual (this one is still on my US pickup list & I will still get it eventually but it'll be cool to have it on cart as well as card!). I ended up paying less than 25 for all of them so I'm happy!

I do have some games available that I was going to put on eBay but it would be the case of where to send to.
