Just realised the mention "part of pack only" on the indiana jones cover. Anyone have an idea about that pack ?

It'll be a store-specific bundle. Toys R Us did it a lot, typically three games for £30. They stuck that sticker over the barcode so you couldn't return the game separately and profit from the deal.

Were they blisterpacked or something ? I know Bock has two different blisterpacks each including two games that were sold in French store for christmas.

No, sold separately - just with the sticker over the barcode. There were blister pack releases but the vast majority of those "part of a pack" will just be from multibuy deals. Toys R Us had by far the biggest selection of games in any major retailer at the time, so I suspect most of the stickered games will have come from there.

My selections for Group M:
Operation Wolf: Typically high quality painting from our friends at Taito. You can see the stunned realization on the new recruit's face that, yes, the Uzi is a tool for turning a human being into a bedraggled mound of Swiss cheese.
Poseidon Wars 3-D: Hell on Earth never looked so fun! True, the enemy aircraft carrier is currently engulfed in a ball of flame, and true, too, that for the price of each of these torpedoes, we could house, feed, and educate an entire village of homeless folks, but what the hell... fire four more at 'em, anyway.
Aerial Assault: The triptych of Hell on land, at sea, and in the sky is complete. Even Mother Nature is flexing her murderous muscle with a deadly web of lightning. Meanwhile, having looted the modest social services budget in order to build these awesome fighters and bombers, it only seems right that we destroy them in a blaze of futile glory... so we can build more of 'em!
Honorable mentions: Impossible Mission - Good idea, mediocre execution. "Another life drawing anatomy class - stay a while!... Stay forever!" Monica no Castillo de Dragao - she may be little more than a spriteswap for Wonder Boy, but she looks like a Li'l badass in this illustration. Rock on, Monica! Battle Out Run - excellently captures the moment before the Ferrari goes drifting off the edge of the bridge. Zillion - you can say a lot about these early SMS illustrations, but one thing's for sure - this is some hardcore isht. The artist doesn't give a f*** if you understand what you're looking at here, but they've damn sure played the game.

Poseidon Wars 3-D: all action Monica no Castillo de Dragao: I don't like many cartoon covers, but this pulls it off Aerial Assault: one for the final
Almost voted: Indiana Jones (ruined by that extra "INDY" there)

I went with Operation Wolf, Aerial Assault and Lucky Dime Caper.
I really like the composition of the Operation Wolf cover and the look on Jason Bournes face, he looks terrified, Chuck Norris looks a little concerned too.
Aerial Assault isnt as good as the US version but I still really like it. The moody dark lightening clouds and the bright sunshine ahead, if he can just get past those bad guys.
Lucky Dime Caper is a classic, lots going on in this scene. I think if was a duck i'd be into a bit of Magica De Spell.
My runners up were Indiana Jones, Monica and Rampart.

Operation Wolf, Lucky Dime Caper, Asterix and the Secret Mission all get my vote. With Aerial Assault just missing out - I love both US and Euro covers for this game.

Poseidon Wars - It screams War. It screams Explosions. It screams excitement. It's really well done Aerial Assault - Another exciting cover with planes, rockets, lightning that actually captures certain game elements Lucky Dime Caper - I love Donald, it was the first MS game i ever bought by myself and the bear is cute (would've been more awesome if it was Humphrey Bear but it's close enough )
