I'm probably in the same boat as most others on here, full time job with long hours plus two businesses to keep going, 2 very active kids one does cheerleading or gymnastics 5 times a week and the other is into ballet, and on top of that I've had doctor's orders to get as healthy as I can so spend at least an hour a day working out. I still very much love gaming, but console gaming is a mythical dream to me nowadays, I think I've had maybe two hours where I could sit down and enjoy playing SMS games in the past 2 months (and unfortunately I chose to play Little Mermaid!). That doesn't mean I don't game though, I get quite a few hours in on my GameBoy whilst I'm sat waiting for my daughters cheer classes to finish or on my lunchtimes at work, and I've just ordered a new battery for my PSP so I can play SMS on the go too . I agree with others, I think the biggest thing to do is overhaul the Game Club section, The more people that are on here to chat about the games that are being played by everyone, then the more posts will get put up in other areas. I do think forums are a dying breed though, social media has made everything so much more instantaneous that people don't like hanging around for answers anymore, maybe we can come up with some ideas to link stuff into twitter or stuff? It just so happens that I actually have a copy of Power Strike sat in my Retron 5 at home right now, so I'm gonna try and get a sneaky half hour in when I finish my night shift !

As a relatively new member here I find that if I ever ask anything here it either never gets answered or I get referred to a thread from something like 2007. So it's hard to ask some questions when a lot of the old guard here have heard it all before, so if I need an answer for something I often just search and browse old threads. I agree that the Game Club section should be revamped so everyone gets involved in chatting about the games, the main reason we're all here

I'm not sure how old threads from 2007 which answer your question are a bad thing. I guess some forums delete old threads so you can repeat the conversation, which is nice for newcomers but hardly an efficient way to get answers.
It's also the case that a lot of questions go unanswered. That's usually because nobody knows the answer, and we don't seem to have that "people who know nothing sharing that with each other" thing you see a lot on other communities (almost every phone forum I've tried to use has been pretty terrible, for example).

I'm not saying linking old threads is a bad thing, just highlighting the fact that everything that could possibly have been discussed about the system already has, hence the inactivity around here. I actually quite like reading the old threads, I've learned a lot about the system from doing so.

ninjabearhug, I also agree with this, being an adult with commitments means less time to yourself! I also toy'd with emulating SMS games, as i no longer have the hardware anymore (or a psp) so my laptop is where i tend to emulate games. I do have an old sms controller somewhere but was wondering if anyone knew of a usb adaptor or a 3rd party styled controller to use?
