As far as I know thease are the only 4 sonic 1 instructions there are, can some one prove me wrong and offer up another variation for me to track down? There is mention of it being released in brazil on the sms power lists and sega8bit rarity list but I have never seen a tec toy version.

I've got 3 slightly different 'Printed in Thailand' manuals - the product code on the back is diffferent on each. And here's a pic of the TecToy version:

I'm not sure rupert, but perhaps this manual was included in the Spanish master system II Sonic pack.....

Not sure if that would be the case, since it tells you how to handle the cartridge, but theres no cart with sonic built in to the console

I'l explain were i got this.. It was hidden inside a portuguese Jungle book, and I also have a simler spanish one for the jungle book and also the simpsons (aswell as portuguese manuals)... but none of the other portuguese games Ive bought had them, They all had just portuguese manuals. This makes me think some of the portuguese games were also sold in spain maybe?

This makes me think some of the portuguese games were also sold in spain maybe? I don't think so.... I remember that I went to many videogames shops, and I never saw portuguese games..... Even in specialized shops in import games I never saw that, as I never saw in Spain games like Alf, Rambo first blood, king quest......

Resurrection! I just bought from local store an SMS2 with Sonic built-it and there's a strange manual included. I never had before this model with box, so I'd like to ask if your Sonic-SMS2 has the same manual? Actually it's a folded glossy A4, in black and white with english language only. It must be imported from UK as there's a UK registration card. <offtopic> By the way, there's also a strange AC adapter with 10V output. As far as I know, all SMS2 systems need 9V as said underneath of this too. I don't think will ever use this AC adapter. I bought the console as brand new so I can't ask previous owner about it. (On top says in greek that was approved to be safe by greek organization in 1994 ) </offtopic>
