I have a Master System 3000, a Master System 3010 and a Master System II with Alex Kidd. Is it worth keeping both MS I and the MS II?

Do they have different built-in games?

The Master System I both have snail maze. The MS II has Alex Kidd in Miracle World. I may be mistaken but I think there are some compatibility issues with some games on the MS II or there are games that work on the MS II that do not work on the MS I.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say not only is it worth keeping both, it's worth getting a few more.

So when you say AK: MW are talking about the MSII or is there a MS I with AK:MW?

There are SMS 1's with AKMW built in, but my belief is they are much less common in the U.S.

Ah I see. So with than version i would be able to play everything (card games, pirates etc) unlike the other versions I have. However it may not be easy to locate i the US. Was it released in the US?

I have 3 systems. An ms1 with hang on and safari hunt built in, an Alex Kidd ms2 which does the majority of the work, and an immaculate boxed sonic ms2 which is there to be preserved

What about the Power base converter for the genesis / Megadrive? Are there any limitations on that? Version one of course.

It wont play F-16 Fighting Falcon. Thats not a reason to get rid of a system, thats a reason to keep it!

It wont play F-16 Fighting Falcon. Thats not a reason to get rid of a system, thats a reason to keep it! If that is it's only flaw I think it is worth overlooking. I own the game but I do not think I will ever play it. I think it works on my Retron 5.
