Hey guys! Really could use some help here.
I'm working on a Dead Angle retrospective and I cannot find the music ripped ANYWHERE online. This really is a shame, as I'll have to improvise and not actually use the game's music throughout the retrospective.
Please, if anyone could somehow rip the music (looking for something that would play in Bannister's "Audio Overload") it would be greatly appreciated.

It is not on RadioSEGA but they might know where to get it. Also, RadioSEGA is awesome, love requesting SMS tracks!

Can't help with the music you need, but glad to hear you've got another video on the way.

Would mp3's be okay?

That's great. Very interesting game, and good observations about its lineage. I haven't played it yet but I remember thinking it had impressive, unique graphics when I first saw it.
Games of this type on the SMS, that have that more choppy look, are primarily using background tiles to draw the characters rather than sprites. The tiles are 8 pixels so when things move they don't look as smooth as a sprite that can move in 1 pixel increments. Still, it is a clever workaround to get the Master System to play certain types of games, especially with very large characters, that it otherwise wouldn't be able to without a complete graphic re-design. Some of the members with more technical knowledge can explain it better, but that's my understanding. I think the first time this technique was used for the SMS was in Space Harrier - the SMS conversion was led by Yuji Naka (later of Sonic fame), so it might be that he invented that technique.
