Well it's been about a year in the making but I've finally finished V2 of the website.
Most of the content is the same but the design and layout has been given the update it sorely needed. There's a few minor things I need to fix and update but I felt it was ready to go live today.
Have an explore and let me know what you think, any feedback is much appreciated. ;D

Congratulations on a fantastic job Iain. Your new design keeps the "quirky retro" looks while delivering via a modern, clean look.
I understand how much work this must have been for you, with so much content porting it all across must have been an absolute pain.
I’m loving all the new backgrounds and images on the page and the general style. Inevitably a few bugs seem to have crept in, but once these very minor things are sorted, you will have left us with a very solid website.
Congrats again on your "mad Sk1llZ" and a big thank you from me.

It looks awesome! I wasn't sure if I would like an updated site as a retro style website for a retro console seemed suitable, but you've done an excellent job.

Congrats! Usually I'm against changes for things I like and I'm used to, but your work is great and suits perfectly. ps: I hope someday have a winner for AKIMW caption contest. I sent my entry around Christmas and still there's no winner... ;D |

Holy Bananas!! Just went to do my usual nosey on the site before coming to the forum, not expecting there to be anything new.... but.... EVERYTHING was new!! ;D Great job all round, as everyone else has said, it brings it right up to date whilst still keeping that retro feel. Now if only I could get my admin powers back....  |

Member bios gone? I used to enjoy having a wee look through them from time to time.  Also, acknowledgements gone or moved? I felt that was an appropriate page for those that have contributed either design or content to the site since it started. Maybe they're both still there somewhere and I just haven't noticed them, but thought it was worth mentioning. |

Indeed a very a good job, ian, congratulations. Loved the big cart design; refreshing but yet it keeps the retro feel. Just to echo kungfukid: are the member bios gone or is it just temporary...? How are Internet creeps supposed to harass ShadowAngel with random, unscrupulous PMs as of now?  |
